Subject: Genral Windows Programming

Greetings fellow GUS subscribers:

I may get flammed for doing this, but as I do not have access to
view USENET as I would like to (ie I only have EMAIL access)
I was wondering 2 things:

1) Does anyone know of any programming (c/c++) digests that
are more general or involve windows? (I am currently
learning windows C programmin on my own and I have a couple
of questions that would probably be easy for an experienced
programmer.) I would someday like to become familiar enough
to incorporate GUS sound into my applications!

2) If the answer is no to the first question, maybe (from personal
experience) you can help me: (email only as not to clutter the
the mailing list anymore than I already have)

    a) Can you tell a DOS BOX to execute a PASTE command?
(ie the paste function in the extended system comands)
I know this works manually (pasting from the clipboard)

    b) Just out of curiousity, are there any functions and/or
algorithms (ther must be) to compute the % of CPU
       utilization.

I'm sorry if I have used up bandwidth on an related topic to
the GUS, but I guess if it helps me to understand windows
programming, the sooner I can start with my GUS programming.

Thanks in advance!
Mike Irvin
