I think I've tapped everything I can that was submitted for GUSjamming.
Maybe we could get the keepers of the archive to create a GUSJAM directory
so interested parties could find stuff. In fact, it could be a special
type of SUBMIT directory, since those files are intended to be "dynamic"
temporaries until finished.

BTW, I should be getting my copy of PowerChords Pro soon. Would this be a
better exchange format than .MID files?

Yes, I'm into it. "I'm not just the Howling Dog Systems (club) president - I'm
also a customer."

Lets do some stuff.

$ Now regarding midi, are people still interested in the gusjam project? I, Hal
$ and Stuart did put some stuff on epas for enhancement, but not much has
$ happened since then. I still have full of drum patterns (mostly techno and
$ rap) which i could put on epas, but is there any interest in doing something
$ with that? I'm sure there are people here who specialise in bass lines or
$ stuff like that... i would expect some killer songs... My specialty btw is
$ drums and lead synths (or organ or piano) and main style is techno and house.

Well, I'm interested. I haven't really had time to sit down and puzzle
out how to make a MOD, perhaps I am handicapped by not knowing a good mod
composer from teen-age ASM trash. :)

I also like the techno beats, at least in MODs, but I have yet to hear a
satisfying techno THUMP from a MIDI file. I'd be interested in
participating, perhaps by trying to make some good heavy techno patches.

Speaking of gusjam, a couple weeks ago I was looking for the gusjam.zip files
that were uploaded a few months back, but couldn't find anything. Ever
since, I have not heard a peep from anyone regarding the project until now.
I am very interested in this and think it would be great, and we have
sofunky.zip to prove it. Can someone re-upload the gusjam.zip file or tell
me where it is? Thanks.
