Subject: GUS MOD Editors

Hi all,

Over the summer I upgraded from my old Amiga A500 to a 486
and bought an Ultrasound card. (I may not have bought a PC
if it hadn't been for the GUS :) . I used to really like
making modules on the Amiga. There now seems to be a few
module-style editors out there for the Gus and I was wondering
which ones you guys would recommend.

I have looked at Farandole and it seems quite promising - but
the release I have has only a few effects (have there been any
major updates?)

On a slightly different note - what do you think the chances
are of module-style editors getting better effects arrays
than the pretty much standard protracker stuff (which seem
pretty good anyway). I mean like maybe a phase or distortion
type effect. The phaser could be cool for rave songs :)

Ta and see ya'

Francis Li: yes, I agree that the Linear/Log volume switch should be on
the mixer pannel, as well as buttons for clearing the gus memory, and the
ability to save default start-up volumes should be in the pull-downs of
the mixer.

i'm sure someone must be taking notes.
