 Technical Information
;

The Draining of the Coil was created on a 486/66 with SB-16 ASP MCD soundcard.
I started working on this one on 23rd of July and finished it one week later
on 29th. I think this one proves I finally got over my writer's block.

Because I use the panning and surround commands quite often these days, you
should play this module with a recent player like DMP 3.01 or Cubic.

 Background Information
;

This module is the 17th in a series about the many different jobs on the
refinery. Together they will constitute a music disk, called 'FinaDisk 1995'
which will be released at the end of the year, containing all modules I
will create during this year and my stay at Fina.

UPDATE : It is quite certain that my stay at Fina will not last very long
any more, as I only got six months' time to get another job before they
fire me. I expect to have a new job at the university by 1st October. So
that leaves me nearly 2 months to write another 3 modules so that I can
conclude FinaDisk 1995 with a total of 20 modules.

As I am out of job numbers - I think I've had most of the important jobs -
I will be giving my new modules more original titles :) This one's title was
inspired by reading an article in the Chemical Engineering magazine about the
calculation of the draining of heat exchanger heating coils.

The original idea behind this module was to compose a long piece of music
as The Klinik often does, using a base pattern of sound and superimposing
al kinds of background noises. But as you know, some modules compose them
self, and this one wanted to swing after about 1.30 minutes, so I just
continued to see what the result would be. I must say I quite like it,
and it's definitely better than the previous module 'Righter's Blok' of
which I'm really ashamed :(

As the SysOp of my Fido WHQ 'The Ultimate BBS' has moved to Scotland
because of his job at IBM's HelpLine, the BBS does not exist any longer
so i will be looking for a new WHQ as well. This also means that my Fido
point adress does no langer exist .... back to good old Internet to
reach me !

Anyway, I can start thinking of a title for my next muysicdisk ...
