GSET - V.0.1 - Gravis Ultrasound utility

(c) 1993 IdMEDIA & Francois Dion

Description
===========

      GSET is an utility that allows to enable or disable the mic in,
line in or output of the Gravis Ultrasound card. GSET takes the base
address in the environment variable ULTRASND. It doesn't check for the
card, but it shouldn't create a problem if an Ultrasound is not present.
The CDROM connector is not affected by the line in enable/disable. BTW,
gset is totally freeware (including C source code). The only limitation
is that if you modify the code, use a new name, so as to not confuse.

      Usage:

      GSET [l][m][o]

      l: line in enable
      m: microphone in enable
      o: output enable

      You can specify any option in any order (if you dont specify it,
it will be disabled, as i have not found a way to read the status of the
cmos switches).

      Example:

      GSET Lo

      will enable line in, enable output and disable microphone. You can
use lower/uppercase if you want.

What's next
===========

      I'll add gus detect/ram check/ram clear/midi reset options one day.

      With that, it'll have more use than ultrinit (midi reset/lo enable).
