.MOD XV. Again, I included a text file as a sample, also in the archive.
Loads of out-of-date info, especially the technical and contact info. Country
Cabin and The UltraSound Connection BBSes still exist, I believe, but I
haven't called either in quite some time. I probably no longer have
accounts.

As the info file says, the title, filename, and all the sample names are jokes
from CTY. I won't bother explaining them, as they still wouldn't make sense
(they never did).

Once again, I came up with what I thought was a unique idea only to be proven
wrong. When I made "Three-card Monte", I managed to get a triplet feel by
treating each group of three rows as a beat and breaking pattern after 48
rows. Since I rarely used the second row in each group, I figured this was a
waste of space. It was also difficult to work with, since most .MOD editors
assume that you want to work with four rows per beat. So I solved both
problems by using a constant alternation in speed between eight and four ticks
per row; if I wanted something in the second note of a triplet, it could be
handled with delay and retrigger effects. And then I found tons of other
modules that used the same trick (usually more effectively), and I was
depressed.

But that in no way makes this a bad song. It was my second to last .MOD, and
the only one better was the last one.

Thank you for your time, and remember: Music is not an industry.
